THE RIGHT THING - By Lisa

In my last entry I told the story of the Christian man who believed that a leader always does the right thing.  As I pondered that thought, this quote suddenly appeared in my inbox:

"Cowardice asks the question: is it safe? Expediency asks the question: is it politic? Vanity asks the question: is it popular? But conscience asks the question: is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular - but one must take it simply because it is right."  (Martin Luther King Jr.)

Wow.  Here is another real-life example of following God's call to do what is right, even at the ultimate personal cost.

Perhaps it's not only leaders who must do the right thing.  God calls each of us, in our own way, to stand for him.  Are you up to the challenge?

The 'Right Path' is not the easiest path to take; but it is certainly the most rewarding one!

For, it doesn't just lead us to a place that has been prepared for us in Heaven; it takes us to the throne of God...

    Blessings to you,

Hi Chris - Thanks so much for your comment. I agree with you. It's not always the easiest path and sometimes it's really hard to find. But it's still the best.

    Blessings to you today,

    Lisa
