Living for God

"What should I do for the best in life?" asked the student of a great Christian teacher. We can ask such a question for a lifetime or we can seek such guidance day-by-day. But there is a way for all God's people that is his best for us.

My heart longs to do the work of this ministry. I believe this desire comes from God. There is no other work I can imagine that would give me so much joy.

Now, here's the answer that elder sage  gave his student, "Whatever path you find your soul longs after in the quest for God, do that, and always watch over your heart's integrity." We discern God's best by the desire he puts in our heart. No passion, no way.

If you love to lead, do it with grace. If you love to follow, do it with gratitude. Listen to your heart.
