Who doesn't want to be the best? Getting ahead, making money and a secure retirement are the American dream. But what if it isn't God's dream?

Being in ministry can be hard. I look around and see lots of successful people, some of them even professional Christians. Meanwhile Calvin and I have put everything on the line for ministry and won't be getting the perks of success. So is it really worth it?

We've directed Living for God for almost 10 years now. Yesterday we were really down because it's so hard to tell if what we do makes any difference at all. Then a woman called us out of the blue from California. Seems she had been blessed by our article in her local paper so she just had to phone us.

But her call blessed us more. Just when we doubted our impact, God arranged a conference call simply to encourage us. So don't ever give up!
