Spiritual Growth

Like every other human, I was born with the image of God encoded into my very being. I can't say I know if the image is marred from conception though. I do know that when a seed falls to the ground and dies, it begins to grow into its true and unique identity according to God's design. Every child has the potential to grow into the full maturity of God's image that is unique to them.

People are formed in body, soul and spirit. When Jesus breaths the Spirit into a human body, he imparts the fullness of his divine nature to the human soul. From that moment, I begin to die and Christ begins to grow in me.

How much am I willing to let go? Like the apostle Paul, I hope to live no longer so that Christ will become fully mature in me. Then I'm gonna represent Jesus in the world! What about you?
