LIVING IN REALITY - by Lisa Are Wulf
Faith in God

"A John Hopkins University doctor says, 'We do not know why it is that worriers die sooner than the non-worriers, but that is a fact.' But I, who am simple of mind, think I know. We are inwardly constructed in nerve and tissue, brain cell and soul, for faith and not for fear. God made us that way. To live by worry is to live against reality." (Eli Jones)
Hmmm…I never thought of it like this. As a life-long worrier, I have 100 solutions for every conceivable problem. Guess I just like to be prepared. But maybe I'm living in a parallel universe.
If faith equals reality, then worrying is a non-productive endeavor at best. If we live and move and have our being in Christ, his sheltering arms surround us. And that's comforting. But the hard part is actually opening our hands and releasing the worries so they can float away like balloons in space.
What do you think?

As a human, we can't deny the fact that worries and fear is part of our lives. We tend to worry even to some minor things. But as what He already stated, we should cast all our cares on him to let go of this fear and doubt. We should cast all our cares on him for he cares for us.
