Jesus entered humanity as a human so that he could show us how to love as God the Father loves. Yes, Jesus died on a cross as the ultimate sin sacrifice. But during his earthly ministry, he demonstrated his divine love as an example for all people.
When the teaching of spiritual leaders was harmful, Jesus chastised and corrected them. He ate meals with the most offensive people in society to demonstrate that God loves all people, no matter how they live.
Jesus makes his Father known to us so that the love the Father has for his Son may also be in us. The father of the prodigal displayed that kind of love for his son.
What are the limits of your love? If you look down on anyone, then your love is limited. The Father gives his blessings to all people with perfect love. As Jesus said, "Therefore be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect."

The bible teaches us that the love of God is to keep his commandments and his commandments are not grievous. If we do this we will remain in the love of God.
