As you grow in Christian faith, you will become aware of your unique role in the body of Christ. That doesn't make you "special," but it will be an expression of who you are as a reflection of your heavenly Father.
Each believer is given abilities of the Spirit for the common good of their community. Your job is to discern, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, what spiritual gifts you have been given by Jesus and how you will exercise them in service to others. This is the birth of your unique Christian ministry.
Learn how to serve your faith community, and maybe even your neighbors, by organizing and exercising these spiritual abilities so that people will see your accomplishments and glorify your Father in heaven. Set a personal spiritual goal to do justice, love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God. These are the fruits of a spiritual life in Christ.
