Yes, Yes, and again I say Yes! The Renaisance caused us to not see any divinity in ourselves, said that the body was shameful and foul, said that man could not handle spiritual truths without the mediation of the church. These were all just ways for the Catholic church to keep a strangle hold on the people.

Well said, and controversial, and I am never one to shy away from controversy, it is heresy I run from. This, is not that I assure you.
