Hi Kim - Thanks so much for your comment. I thought the story about FDR was really inspiring when I saw it on TV so I wanted to share it.

I guess I used the binoculars to show that people really are watching how we react the things and that we have an opportunity for good in how we respond.

Praise the Lord - what a great reminder! I found that as a survivor of cancer, molestation, rape and other abuses - when I came to see the love of Jesus - I thought that was all I had to do. I thought at that second I was healed and all the pain was going to leave me. It was not until the Lord introduced other people such as myself into my life to talk with did I begin to let go of my pain/hurt and release it to the Lord completely. It was in sharing my story that all things started coming into prospective. Oh the importance of our testimonies - the deliverance that can come from that is awesome.
I pray more people open up and share the awesome stories that the Lord has given them to all the world. I was blessed to write three (free) books that truly helped me even more yet it was in the discussion with others that really made a difference in my life. (Of course outside of prayer and fasting!)
Such an awesome blog yet again...thanks for this wonderful reminder - I will have to share with other too...God Bless!
