I've enjoyed reading your blog. I don't know if you are interested in this sort of thing, but my daughter has made a 20 minute video for Easter that I would like to share. The video is the Story of Edith Easter, written by San Antonio resident and author (now deceased) Russell Kelfer. It is available for viewing at www.vimeo.com/9510248. There is also an Edith Easter page on Facebook where it can be viewed. The video was made by my daughter, Krista, who is a freshman in college. She worked really hard on it! I really appreciate you sending me that historical exploration of Lent but I think I will stick with celebrating Passover from a Christian context. I see more precedence Biblically (in the New Testament) for celebrating Passover than Lent and Easter (1 Cor. 5).

I love the Passover dinner too. It helps to remember the Exodus from Egypt and is a wonderful foreshadowing of redemption on the cross. I hope to publish a free download on the history and practices of Lent in the early church soon. Stay tuned, maybe even subscribe to the blog.
